TRANSFORMATION 165 is part of my ongoing Transformation series, created by reworking older paintings and allowing traces of their previous lives to remain within a new visual language. Through layering, scraping, covering, and revealing, I transform the original image rather than completely erasing it.

This work is dominated by a cool, atmospheric palette of turquoise, blue, green, and violet, interrupted by a vivid concentration of warm reds, oranges, and ochres in the upper left. These contrasting colors create a sense of tension and movement, while translucent layers and fragmented marks give the surface an almost dreamlike depth.

The composition exists somewhere between landscape, architecture, and pure abstraction. Forms appear and disappear beneath the surface, encouraging the viewer to look beyond the immediately visible. For me, the work reflects the continuous process of change: nothing is truly lost, but everything can be transformed into something new.
